So, last night I went to a Weinachtsmarkt (of course I'm acting like this blog hasn't just been abandoned and brought back to life) but yeah, its Christmas season, and Germany being the inventor of the Christmas tree, is ALL about it.
I decided I actually might document each one I visit on here.

So this is a Weinachtsmarkt (Christmas market) its just filled with smells, families and lights as well as a bunch of Christmas goodies here and there. This one in particular was a Swedish themed one and guess what, it was called the "Lucia Weinachtsmarkt" BOOM BABY. (Only cause the sweeds have that Lucia holiday which I'm totally doing. Cant wait to wear a chandelier on my head on the 13th) |

AAAaaaand what is Christmas season without roasted chestnuts ? the cobble stone floor is covered with shells cause everyone just gnawing at them hehehe |
|
Cotton candy, of course. |
|
And yes, what you guess is correct, those damn sweeds, killing such a majestic animal and eating it... ( I had one) |
|
P.S. Elks are huge. |

And last but not least YOU HAVEN'T HAD A PROPER WEINACHTSMARKT EXPERIENCE UNLESS YOU'VE HAD Glühwein... so good.. basically boiled red wine with spices and fruits, so delicious.
Stay in tune and happy 3rd of December!! Christmas is coming!!! |
