Rhye in Berlin

What a band, one of a kind. Walking passed them on the street you'd never expect them to hold such power with their skill. Great set, though harmonizing at one point was a bit off it didn't matter, still ripped out my heart strings with that last song....
Don't know its title, can't find it anywhere, but it was amazing.... Here it is:

PS. Girls sitting to my left. Did I pay you 16 euros to sing for me?
PSS. So many hipsters SO MANY HIPSTERS. All girls with hair that was supposed to look half-assed but was obviously full-assed. All pattern jumper wearing men, and even a dude, scribbling into his little notepad on the side.

Concerts in Berlin

My greatest apologies... It seems we have abandoned you. So here is my attempt to resurrect.

The passed 6 months in Berlin have been AMAZING. This city is one of a kind, its surprises are infinite and there is no slowing down. If you have ever fallen in love with a city from a movie it was probably based on this wild artsy, creative, aspiring town.

But, to the main point of this post, I can throw up praise about this city in another one.
So far I've been to 3 concerts and I'm going to a new one today.

1. Bon Iver
Amazing.... <3

Don't go unless you have
1. a partner, or
2. you're high.

People were just making out everywhere, and if not, starring into each others eyes. Bon Iver has a knack for making people find each others souls. I was like "Jesus, go... go and suck face, suck harder and louder, cause I can't even hear Holocene anymore, just 'smack... shlup... mlahh... mmmm..'"

2. Zeds Dead

HOLY SHIT THESE GUYS WERE AMAZING!!! If you don't know them EDUCATE YOURSELF. Was right next to the stage and the awesome thing was it was their first gig in Berlin ever, tickets were cheap and the crowd was WILD. Have  a ton of videos, buuut, I haven't imported any of them.. However if we're friends on Facebook they should be uploaded there somewhere.

3. Bar9
No pictures again... was too wild that if I brought my phone out we would have all died. Do not know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
EITHER WAY...
One thing I love about Berlin is that it doesn't seem to care how famous you are, if your prices are ridiculously over priced, the show will not go on. Thank you Germans and your practicality, because tickets were 10.. fucking.. euros... and if you shared their announcement on Facebook.. It was 50% off...  That mean 5 fucking euros... that means 250 php to see one of the voted top 10 dubstep DJ's. What the amaze.

AND TONIGHT...
Know these guys? 16 Euros, and I'm going to bathe in their melody. Tell you about it after ;)

Winters Here!!!! - Berlin

So, last night I went to a Weinachtsmarkt (of course I'm acting like this blog hasn't just been abandoned and brought back to life) but yeah, its Christmas season, and Germany  being the inventor of the Christmas tree, is ALL about it.

I decided I actually might document each one I visit on here.

So this is a Weinachtsmarkt (Christmas market) its just filled with smells, families and lights as well as a bunch of  Christmas goodies here and there. This one in particular was a Swedish themed one and guess what, it was called the "Lucia Weinachtsmarkt" BOOM BABY. (Only cause the sweeds have that Lucia holiday which I'm totally doing. Cant wait to wear a chandelier on my head on the 13th)

AAAaaaand what is Christmas season without roasted chestnuts ? the cobble stone floor is covered with shells cause everyone just gnawing at them hehehe

Cotton candy, of course.

And yes, what you guess is correct, those damn sweeds, killing such a majestic animal and eating it... ( I had one)

P.S. Elks are huge.

And last but not least YOU HAVEN'T HAD A PROPER WEINACHTSMARKT EXPERIENCE UNLESS YOU'VE HAD Glühwein... so good.. basically boiled red wine with spices and fruits, so delicious.

Stay in tune and happy 3rd of December!! Christmas is coming!!!

Finally got my iPhone - Berlin, Germany

So I finally got my iPhone and will be posting so much more, be prepared.

Just as we'll I just wanted to let you know about my other blogs on Tumblr. I have one just for pretty pictures (like most do) and that's called halucynation.tumblr.com, and just recently I started a film blog since I'm a film graduate. It's simply a spot for you to find out more about a film or if you're looking for a good film to begin with :) that ones called therealhorseinmotion.tumblr.com. So far only has one post since it's fairly new, but I'm getting on it :)

Anyways that was my little update from busy Berlin. Enjoy!

Iyengar Yoga - Berlin, Germany

So, for any future adventurers heading to Berlin, this country is obsessed with two things if you don't associate yourself with the street crowd.
1. Trees
2. Health
With all this fresh air and bio-marts in every corner I think I've prolonged my life by 20 years just from my decision to move here from Manila. Though Manila is one of the top cities for me (if your considering all the fun) it also gets you killed faster with the sleepless nights and their reasons for it (whether it be friends, adventures, alcohol, narcotics, joy rides/ronda, and Avicii) and pollution, good old Manila pollution. Yummy :)
As an extra kick to this... health kick I decided to take yoga  more seriously as opposed to my very on/off ways before. This is the Iyengar Studio I'm going too now :)

This is the studio inside, grateful of how open it is.
The reason why Iyengar Yoga is primarily because of Kat :) Her mother is an Iyengar Yogi and she got me into it after one class I attended in Manila :) check her out as well! Rina Ortiz, she's a dream among other fantastic things.
Hoping this helps my project "be bangin" bang faster haha

If ever you're in Berlin and wanna join, here's the address and some contact info :)

A little crack over the something that is Kat Ortiz

So since Kat hasn't been posting I thought I'd do a little two cents on her.
What's to say? She's the strongest wild card. Thing of the +4 wild card in Uno that easily trumps all the other cards by a mile with its black on black on black. Unexpected and adventerous, laughter is something you find in every corner of her mouth, along with piercings she removes and adds, removes and adds (a trait me and her have in common). She has a knack for being surprised (happily) by many things. Her "Whaaaat?" face is priceless and something that should be strived for if ever you have the glory of meeting her.
She is also by far a brilliant artist. She's currently studying in Central St. Martins, so lucky Central St. Martin-ers for having her. Hehe, but just as well I think attending that school says enough about her skill. We're HOPING! (though her absence in this blog is apparent) that she'll whisper us at least a sliver of the interesting things that go one there that keep her too busy to keep us in mind (hinting at the bitterness).
Other than her lovely aggressive personality, and her apathetic expression upon her gorgeous face, which makes her look like she's pissed off  half of the time, behind her sometimes agitated replies, and between her weird moments, what we can assume we have is a genius artist, a loving lesbian, and insanely sane maniac, who likes to paint nightmares, cartoons and vaginas. Among other things that inspire us to be friends with the monsters in our heads... But then read that entire sentence again and make it sound twice as endearing and 3x more like a fairy tale.

If you're wondering, this stunning woman you're catching with Kat is the lovely Agathe, her current sweetheart from the romantic France. A long distance relationship is never ideal but they of all people can make it work, with trips too and fro, right and left, and also with the wonderful invention of Skype, anything is possible. This actually happens to be the same case with Sam, but that's another (sweet) story to come, hopefully after this one.
Of course as you can tell, with all her walking contradictions of descriptions we have barely scraped the surface of Kat Ortiz in this blog post. Other than that she is the best Halo-Halo this planet has to offer. Think of all that is darkly powerful and then paint it with glitter because underneath her brooding aura she bleeds pink, and rainbows.

Hopefully soon she'll post a blog that will shed some more light on what I desperately attempted.. Miss you Kat :) <3

Tease Me, Lucia! ~ Manila, Philippines to Berlin, Germany

It's been a couple of weeks since Lucy's left Manila.
I am basically posting this to remind the Philippines of its great loss and to make sure that Germany knows what kind of gem of a woman it's currently gained.
Lucia Valeria Fischer. 21 years old. German-Filipina.
And mind you, German men (yes, men), she is single ;) But not for long I can imagine.
Here are a few outtakes from a smoldering, sexy, and out right sizzling Luci,
from a video she did a while back with Mike Oreta and the rest of Meow Meow Productions.
Needless to say, the video was just stunning.
Beautifully made, simple, elegant, AND oozed so much sex appeal I could barely contain myself.
Yes, she is my friend. This ridiculously beautiful woman is my friend. Kill me now :))
I couldn't let this wonderful gift to mankind go unnoticed.
Hence, you may all thank me later :)
Anyway, enough of my blabbing. Click on the link and I'm sure the video will do all the talking.
